When you see someone in a uniform,
Someone who serves us all,
Doing military duty,
Answering their country's call,
Take a moment to thank them,
For protectingwhat you hold dear;
Tell them you are proud of them;
Make it very clear.
Just tap them on the shoulder,
Give a smile, and say,
"Thanks for what you're doing
To Keep us safe in the USA!
Happy 4th of July Everyone!
But most of all, it's someone who you've known for a long time, and has never changed. They're always the same person: themselves. It takes guts to do that; be yourself in a world full of people who are constantly wanting to be like everyone else. To "fit in". I like people who are against the grain, who do what is morally right, and who have respect for the people in their lives. THOSE are the people we need to look up to....not walking barbie's or nasty men that can wipe their asses with a $50 dollar bill and take whatever they can get, just as long as their desires are fulfilled.
